Regina Steves is played by Carly Oates
Born in Granada Hills, CA, Carly Oates got a taste for acting early in her life. It became apparent to her mother when shortly after her 2nd birthday she pointed to the television and declared, “I want to do that!â€. Her debut role proved her love was more than just a hobby, when she was cast to play the daughter of an alcoholic in the play Peggy’s Shadow. Oates fell in love with independent film in her adult career and has since appeared in many, one of her first being along with the Hollywood star, Francine York.  Other notable work includes 2009’s SOL, If You Love It, and Shuttling Noah. She has performed improv throughout Los Angeles including an 80’s improvised soap opera, as well as a fully improvised Twilight Zone. Her style is so natural that it evokes and conveys genuine emotion and sets her apart on film. Her lead as Regina Stevens in the zombie romance, Pretty Dead (set for release in 2012), has earned her rave reviews from film critics worldwide. Oates currently lives in Los Angeles where she continues to build her acting resume and is actively involved in philanthropy work, specifically with Comfort Zone Camp, a non-profit bereavement camp for children. She is set to host a web series about healthy living in America which is scheduled for release in Summer 2012.
